Part-Time Accounts & Office Administrator
Location: Sharkey Waste Recycling Ltd, Bunaman, Annagry, F94 D903
Hours: Part-time (flexible hours to suit the right candidate)
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Accounts professional to join our team on a part-time basis. This position is well-suited to someone with a strong accounting background and takes pride in accuracy and values being part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping and financial transactions using Sage 50
- Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and on time
- Year-end accounts preparation and liaise with external accountants
- Process weekly payroll and submit payroll reports to Revenue in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide general administrative support across the office
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accounts
- Proficient in Sage 50 Accounting Software (essential)
- Strong working knowledge of Payroll, VAT, and year-end procedures
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
